We set goals to minimize or control environmental impacts at every stage of our service provision, whether through internal waste separation and beneficial use of separated waste, and proper disposal methods. We also set targets for the appropriate and efficient use of products, reducing energy and water consumption within the salons, among other initiatives.

Cut & Curl believes in nurturing awareness and supporting our employees’ involvement in community and environmental development through various activities. These include hair boom initiatives with coastal communities, participating in the Bangkok Canal Clean Up for waste collection in local canals, engaging in World Ocean Day conservation efforts, and arranging environmental activity on the World Sea Turtle Day.

Initiatives and events for sustainability development

Our sustainability initiatives:

Waste Separation

At every Cut & Curl salons, we separate waste into 5 categories: hair scraps, plastic, paper, contaminated container, and hair dye waste. We are committed to utilizing or disposing of the separated waste appropriately.

Hair Boom from Hair Scraps

Each day, our salons generate a significant amount of hair scraps. We intend to utilize these hair scraps to their fullest potential by turning them into hair booms capable of absorbing oil, which can be used to solve oil spills in the sea and oil slicks along the coast.

Refill Station

To reduce plastic waste from product packaging, we have installed Refill Stations at all our salons. Customers can bring back used product packaging to refill at a discounted price compared to buying new products. We believe that the Refill Station not only reduces plastic waste but also provides our customers with a cost-saving option.
